welcome back to another episode of The Partys Over Podcast. EPISODE #4

Welcome Back to another Partys Over Podcast. This week has been hectic with tons of shows and tons of birthdays and tons of not being able to relax. Im  day late with posting this weeks podcast due to just that. But the good news is, atleast for my awkward ass, I finally got a microphone for doing these. My friend Curtis from the band Cash Crop hooked it up and im ever so greatful. My voice sounds so soothingly seductive its illegal. Also I scored on picking up a usb turntable so now i can play vinyl and mp3's for these and im even more stoked ot have a record player in my room. I mean im STOKED! Heres a picture of my new set up.

This week i wanted to make it more of a party so i did. These are jams and they are good and youll dig it, i hope.

Welcome back to The Partys Over Podcast.
this episode is based around local bands around my area spanning from LA to San Pedro to Pomona to Riverside to Fullerton and beyond. These are alot of my favorite bands to do shows with and see in general. There are alot i couldnt fit into an hour but if i book your band then you know i like you :)
There are some special tracks on this podcast i have counted 8 currently unreleased tracks on this podcast that you cant hear anywhere else but here.
I wrote these bands asking permission if i could use them and some of them even requested i use them so thank you very much everyone.

From this day on i will be posting my podcast on every Tuesday so please besure to check back weekly for new episodes. I chose Tuesday cause everyone releases theirs on Monday and so why not do it on Tuesday cause Mondays suck and we all know it.

an introduction of sorts

My name is Marty and i have been booking diy punk shows in southern california for over 10 years and have booked over 800 different bands in that time. I book in the Riverside/Pomona area at VLHS and other spots in the Inland Empire, recently started booking at the Blood Orange Infoshop too.  I am also the proud founder of what has turned into my favorite weekend of the year AWESOME FEST in sunny san diego CA. I am starting this podcast just cause i am massively in love with the underground punk scene and it really is what my life is all about and i feel this will be a fun way of sharing my love for the scene with those who care to enjoy these podcast.
